Just bought HD TV ( help )

so i'm playing my new HD tv on standard def right now cause I dont got a HD cable but why is everything seem so slow? like cod 4 im walking around and I press a to jump and 1 sec later he jumps wtf? how do i fix this? if i hook my 360 to HD will it fix it?

well it could but it might not, i play tons of games on standard def on my upstairs lcd HDTV, like Wii and the 2nd 360, just cause kids use it and i didnt wanna fork over the dough, but i dont experience this lag your speaking of, what type of tv did you get? LCD/Plasma/DLP?....

It will probably work.

When i got my HDTV, I also didn't have a hdtv connection. I got my HDTV set-up with my Xbox with a HDMI Cable and it worked fine. So you should be ok
