Ive decided not to get Fallout 3.

At first glance, this game looked great to me. Innovative, sleek, and huge, I was impressed. But, when I looked closer, it didnt look as awsome. It looked like just a new shooter. This is just my opinion, and im wondering if anyone else feels like this game is overrated.

try the game first, then decide if its overrated or not...

You cant tell if a game sucks or is overrated before trying it.

I hated Fable1 but im still going to give Fable2 a fair try.

Good idea man. I have it preordered because Fallout 1 and 2 are two of my all time fav games in over 22+ years of gaming. So to say im a little worried abotu fallout3 is an understatement hehe.

It could be very good, and also could be very average. Only time will tell!

Good point but I have seen alot of reviews that have said if you didn't like fable then you won't like fable 2 but that is not true for everyone.

yea i saw the gameplay vids on the marketplace and it looked kinda dry. From what I heard Fable 2 has a storyline that changes based off the decisions you make. That alone makes me prefer Fable 2 over Fallout 3.

Guess you have not seen all the gameplay videoes with RPG elements in it instead of Shooting elements. Did you not see the parts where you can decide to save a city or blow the city up??? Good karma and Bad Karma, changes the storyline.

No. It isn't an Elder Scrolls game. It's a Fallout game. Both series have different leveling systems.

LOL - a new shooter?!?! Have you read about the game at all - since it's not a shooter at all?

That would be like calling Oblivion a shooter because you can be an archer and shoot stuff.

This game is a hardcore RPG with shooter and other genres elements - just like Oblivion. If you liked Oblivion at all - it will be your loss if you pass on this game.

Dead Space rocks dude - GET IT! Ok gotta run to go pick up my copy of Fable 2 since I didn't feel like going to the Midnight release last night. :)
