Is there a TV on the market better than the sony xbr4?

I am looking to buy a 1080P HDTVand am wondering if there are any LCD TV's that are better than the sony xbr4, price does not matter. I am looking for about a 40 inch.

current top of the line LCD is made by pioneer. Be prepared to cough up big bucks tho.darksusperia

Pioneer only makes plasma screens. Sony and Sharp both make very good LCDs.

I've got a 32 inch vizio and its very nice has a great picture

and it has plenlty of places to plug stuff in 2 componets, 2 HDMIs, one RGB, one A/V, so you can have you wii, PS3, 360, computer and HD-DVD player or whatever else all hooked up

also did I mention it was under 600 dollars?

There is no such thing as an XBR5.

The Samsung 71F series has a higher contrast ratio than the XBR4s. Just make sure you get a TV that has the 120Hz frame rate for the best quality.
