Is the Elite really worth the extra money? I've heard that the premium 360 models now have a HDMI port (If someone could confirm this I would be happy) and the extra memory isn't really important. So would it be worth it?

Well if memory isnt the issue then just get the premium, but with the eliteyou are saving money because of the hard-drive though...

Agreed... Colour and memory is pretty much the only difference. I had a Premium 360 (non-HDMI) between me and my brother, but when i got my own HDTV i decided to opt for the Elite. I love it to death and think, personally, that it looks a lot cooler. But otherwise, not much difference.

It's the 120gb that is the selling point and now with all the new download content the 20 gb system is almost useless for gold members

You should get one for the memory. 100GBs is a HUGE difference. Thats 5xs the memory of the Pro. In the long run you would be spending like 400 extra bucks to get the extra harddrives when you could get a 120GB one for only 100$ more (and the Elite comes w/ some other stuf the Pro does not)

doesn't it come with a bunch of stuff too? Like extra controllers and things like that...oh, AND IT'S BLACK! (because yes, the 120gb hard drive is it's main selling point. My friend has 4 gigs left on his premium lol.)

In my opinion, if you are a looking to buy an xbox360, then you might aswell get the elite because you'l be saving money on the HDD.

But if you've got an xbox36, then there is not much point in upgrading to an elite...unless you love the black colour it has!:P

Naw, I think that having the pro is enough because after you beat a game and get a new one you can always just delete your old one, unless you plan on downloading alot of crap and getting 6 games at a time I'd have to say save some money and just go with the pro, who cares about color, the elite only has more memory.

Its funny you know. When Sony released PS2, the only color you can get was black. Then after a few years they released it with different color, mainly the white one and priced it at the premium. Its not the color, its the way how we think. We think that owning something thats different from what everybody is cooler.

it is only if you plan on using the 120gb HD with things like movies, demos, xbox live classics. Personally i only download demos and the 20gb is plenty.
