I came to xbox 360 a bit late, having been on the ps3 for a while, so I have never expirienced Halo. So, is it any good? What re its good points/bad points and overall, is it worth it? I'm asking about all the Halos by the way. Thanks.
Coming from someone who's played a lot of games, Halo: Reach IMO is the most complete package on the 360. There is SOOO much to do in that game if you have Live. Weekly Challenges, Commendations, Map Packs, Forge (Let's you make your own map), Community play lists, Awesome Cooperative Campaign. And that's only scratching the surface. There's just a ton of content in Halo: Reach. The only con that comes to mind is the amount of little kids on Live and there may be a bit of a learning curve for someone that has never played Halo.
Overall it's not a bad experience, but the gameplay feels pretty dated. I don't personally have an affinity for the m.p. as it involves a lot of silly jumping and shooting, which most ppl either love or hate. Myself being one of the latter.
yes, halo is good. you really can't go wrong no matter which one you get. reach did not satisfy me the way i wanted it to, but i still think it's a good game.
Not really. Halo games are really only popular because they were a big exclusive for Xbox, and console FPSs were considered a joke before XBL (though they still kind of are). I wouldn't say Halo is bad, but it's not great either.
