You'll get a lot of naysayers here, but I felt it was the strongest campaign of the series. Firefight was only hampered by the fact that there was no matchmaking.
You can get it for around $15 right now, which is a good price for a pretty good game. It offers a different perspective that is incredibly unique to the Halo universe.
some how i f'd up by playing too much with my friends so i would do random missions at random times which shouldn't have but it did derail me... to this day i have not actually beaten this game i have only beaten almost every individual level
No! Please don't buy it. Worst 60 dollars ive spent this decade.

Well he would not be buying it for $60....................anyway, if you don't currently have Halo 3 and all the map packs then for sure get it. Or if you just want to experience the Halo universe and story from a different perspective then definitly go for it. I had a lot of fun with the game. Enjoyed it very much.

Same. The Campaign was one of THE best. It was better than Halo 2 and 3, the only thing that annoyed me was the end (seriously, THAT was what the mission was for?) The atmosphere, missions, set pieces, etc. were all great. Really enjoyable. The Multiplayer is basically every single Halo 3 match. If you want to play Halo 3 multiplayer get it.
Halo ODST is decent game, when I first played it I didn't think it was that great but I recently replayed it on Legendary and really enjoyed it. It's definitely worth getting now that you can get it pretty cheap. IMO it wasn't worth full price when it came out though.
