Is Gears 2 online still alive?

I am about to buy the All Fronts map pack, but I want to know if the online is still alive.

Last time I went on, which was not long ago, it was pretty active. If you ever want to know what games are still active, check out www.majornelson.com Every week there is a list of like the top 20 (i think) most played games on Xbox Live.

Yeah its still active im always playing it and inever have trouble finding a game

I can't seem to find any horde games on the map packs

yeah, I was just playing it now, theres bots. and with the join in progress its easy to find games for me.

I don't play that often anymore, and when I do I'm not that great.

But I don't need my teammate, who's not that much better than me, telling me how bad i suck everytime I die.

It's pretty active, you know all those bonus EXP events GOW2 is hosting. (I may want to get to level 100 though but kind of boring.

I hope not
