Is 1mbps internet fast enough to run xbox live?

During the summer we are going to be cutting our internet to 1mbps, is it fast enough to support xbox live?

I feel for you dude. I remember back in the days when I had 1MB connection, it was quite slow. Now have 14MB connection :P

It doesn't matter what speed you have (as long as it's the minimum broadband) all that matters is how fast the info comes to and from your home.
