hey does anyone know how to rip the music from your ipod onto your 360 so that i can just listen to it straight from there or do i need the cd to do that.

you need a cd you might as well just hook up your ipod its not worth the hassle and if you do go with cds i think if the music came from itunes it still wont work.

You cannot rip .mp3's (or any file) to the HDD from an external device, including an iPod. The only way to rip music is to have a retail CD, or audio CD (which is generally 10-15 songs), insert it to the Xbox console, and rip. Otherwise, you can only stream the songs.
