I don't know if anyone else has found this. I've installed GoW3 on to the hard drive but when I press play game the disk should stop spinning but it still reads from the disk when it should be reading it from the hard drive. It does stop a little bit afterwards but it should read from the hard drive straight away.

Haven't had any issues like that after installing.

Same thing for me. I thought my 360 was going to take off! This game is awesome though!

Mine does that for every game . . . But not for 5 mins, more like 5-7 seconds . . . I think it does this to make sure that the game inserted in the disk drive is the game you're playing on the hard drive . . .

Yeah I have the same "issue", what worked for me in the past was just to delete the game and install it again.

It's because it's one of the updated 360 discs that has more space on it. I don't know why it takes 5 minutes or so to stop spinning but that just how it works with them.
