It depends, if $400 dollars means your wife and kids are going to starve, or you wont be paying you rent etc..... probs not a good idea.

If you have no issues with money and it is money to burn then good onya!

The only limited editon I'm getting is gears 2. Mostly cause I have the gears 1 limited edition. So they will match :)

I'll be getting the LE versions of Gears, Fallout, and Resistance. don't care about the others you listed. i also like some of the stuff that comes in the LE versions. If nothing else, i like having the metal cases when those are available. besides, i don't have to worry about the cost. that's the nice thing about having a good job.

yeah LE is useless. i could careless about artbooks or special DVDs. you only look at that crap once and then forget about it.

if anything, get the limited edition-resever only copy of Far Cry 2 @ gamestop. at least then you'll get get extra content (6 additional missions and other goodies), and it's still $60.

If you just bought the regular editions then you'd save $60, or the price of a new game.

I don't bother with Limited Editions any more as they just don't add anything worth having

I'm not into the limited editions of games either so having said that, I preordered 2 games last week 1:Fable 2 and 2:Fallout 3 Limited Edition, lol It's the 1st game I've ever shelled out the extra 20 for the LE. And I know there's no real reason for it other than "My contribution to Bethesda for continuing to make awesome friggin games, such as Fallout 3".

Man, if you can justifiably afford it, and enjoy gaming, thats totally fine and awesome. I am getting most of those LE also. Its all relative. Yes, it is "a lot" of money, but like I said, if it is financially okay and responsible for one to spend that kind of money on video games, GAME ON!

If you're going to spend that kind of money, you should get the collector's edition. Fallout 3, Resistance 2, Fable 2 all have solid collector's editions with plenty of extra goodies that will make it worth it.

I preordered the Fallout 3 Special edition.

But the collector's edition of Warhammer Online was wellworth it. It's prolly the best CE I've ever gotten.

I just preordered Banjo Kazooie, getting the original for XBLA free, so i probably won't preorder another game for a bit. The only one that i think is worth the extra $$ is Fallout 3, which I will probably order after I trade some old games in. Bobblehead and lunchbox ftw!
