I would like to see MGS4 go to X360, but one of the big problems is how much game data there is. So I wanted to see how the X360 community felt it should be done.
1.) Put it on multiple disks in all of its uncompressed glory. The game takes up almost the whole 50GB blu-ray disk, so the game would require about 6.7 DV9 X360 disks. Of course we round that up to 7 and that could get a bit expensive for both producer and consumer sides of the retail table.
2.) Compress it to put the game on fewer disks. Unfortunately compressing data causes a loss in video and sound quality. Depending on the compression technology used it could still hold its quality almost perfectly, and since Microsoft has some good compression technology it could very well hold up quality wise.
3.) Don't care how it's done, just want a X360 port.
4.) Don't do it.
Which way would you choose, and feel free to come up with any other viable methods that I have not thought of.
