If I had to choose from elite or premium what would it be?

get the elite if you plan on downloading a lot of arcade games. ive had the premium for 2 years and it suits me fine. as for games, the best shooters w/ multiplayer are orange box, cod 4, and rainbow six vegas. the best rpgs are oblivion and mass effect. the best stories are mass effect and bioshock.

Elite if you wanna download xbox games and make use of IPTV... If not just go for the premium with hdmi..

It's the elites with the HDMI inputs and they're a lot better. If I were you definitely wouldn't get the premium bc If it broke you'd probably have to wait a long time to get a new one and get COD4.Strife88

Ummmm ... the HDMI is not "a lot better". In fact, I have a premium and an Elite. Did a side by side, my human eyes see no visible difference in the picture between HDMI and component.

I'm going to get an Xbox 360 for christmas and I dont know which i should pick elite or premium, and what game besides halo 3? And is the premium edition of xbox 360 here in the philippines are the ones that arrived july 2007 w/hdmi slots? pls help....98scoutgandia

The only factor I would consider in choosing is Hard drive space. I have both a Premium console and an Elite console and the HDMI output is not a factor for me. I tried a comparison test side by side when I got the Elite, and could not tell one difference between the two display outputs.

If you plan to store a lot of game demos, movies and television from Xbox Marketplace, I'd consider the Elite, otherwise you'll be fine with a Premium system.

go with the Elite, it looks cool, has more stuff on it....bu its pricey
