If I buy AC:Odyssey for Xbox One...

Would I be able to play it on my PC or will I need to purchase a separate PC copy? I’m currently on vacation away from home, and I’m thinking about buying a Xbox One plus Odyssey but only if I’m able to play Odyssey on my PC later without needing to buy another copy.

It is not a play-anywhere title so you would need a separate PC copy to play on PC or a separate Xbox copy to play on Xbox.
