It sold well so a sequel will happen. They also have everything laid out so the sequel should be much better now that they don't have to create everything from the ground up.
Assassins Creed is an amazing game and if there is a sequal, I hope they at least add a cooperative feature. The game would own with that, just jumping around a city with your buddy assassinating people:D
