How much nudity is in RDR?

I want the game but nudity is what makes my mom not want me getting it.

I haven't encountered any and I'm about half way through the game. There aren't prostitutes or strip clubs like there are in GTA, I don't think you'll be seeing any nudity in RDR, just some potty mouth and a good helping of old fashioned violence.

There is a sex scene during Reyes' missions... You see both upper and lower female body nudity...

There is also a scene with horse genitals...

Yes, just press A when the cutscene at the beginning of the mission starts... The mission with the sex scene is called "The Gates of El Presedio"...

I dont understand why nudity is an issue considering many other things you can do in the game...wolverine4262

What else can you do in the game, I have played Gears of War and Left 4 Dead 2 so blood is not an issue.

not that violence or sex/nudity is bad in video games but i think i would much rather my children (if i had any) see nudity over gratuitous amounts of violence

Your parents dont mind shooting people in the face but when it comes to nudity they do? Seems a little strange but as been said apart from about 5 seconds worth of mexican love making there is not much else. But just tell her theres no nudity if she wont buy it for that reason as the game is amazing !:)

I can buy the game myself, I have been saving some money and my birthday is coming up so I should have more than enough money to buy all the games I want but this game is just annoying me because it actually looks good for a Rockstar game (I never like GTA) and I have to worry that I can't play it due to nudity.

look RDR isnt a porno its your typical M rated stuff you should be fine. There are prostitutes but you cant sleep with them so it shouldnt matter. You might see a short little sex bit but its really not that bad. I would say 99.9% of the game is nudity free.

I have to say, I have not seen any nudity yet and am about 6 hours into the game. Your mom may be worried that it is made by the same guys who make GTA but the two are nothing alike. In GTA its all about being a gangster, doing drugs, killing people, etc. while in RDR its very strongly encouraged to be a courteous gentleman. I recommend this game and you could challenge ESRB for having so many points making it 'M'

I have the same problem as you but now I know i can skip the scene I can probally get it.

Sexual stuff is very low in this game, you see 2 seconds of a sex scene, a few boobies, and a horses gentiles when someone says the horse is "healthy".

Isn't it funny how a parent doesn't care if you can shoot thousands of people, hot tie em and drag them across the desert, butcher small defenseless animals, etc, but they freak out at the slightest hint of nudity. Western culture really needs to stop being so hard on sex and nudity issues. I would rather kids learn about human sexuality than the anatomy of brain splatter and violence! As far as nudity is concerned in RDR I am nearly half way through the game too and I haven't come across any and I am sure if their is any to be displayed it will be a quick glance that shouldn't corrupt any minds. It is a game after all and the people in it aren't even real.

We get too many of these threads TBH. Any adult is entitled to question his parents (if all challenging his parents values are adults, that's another question). I don't see why explicit violence is okay, but some nudity is not. Sure, maybe it's awkward if you his parent walks in and sees a polygon breast (and I think I saw some hair downstairs), but no big deal.

I would ask his parents, if they'd rather have him watch someone get killed in real life, or someone naked in real life.

It would be nice if people could just go to ESRB, should be enough for a parent:

All games need more nudity LOL.I do not get parents they don't mind if their kids shoot dismember gut people ,but heaven forbid they see nudity or game characters screwing LOL.I just do not get it o well.

The nudity isnt that bad. You see a girls breasts for like 20 seconds. Some people are saying you see her vagina too, but you really cant. Its just like a black blur which is supposed to be hair i guess? But there is no labia or anything like that, just boobs.
