How much are you willing to pay for the new Xbox

Title basically, just curious. Compared to todays PC's the Xbox and PS3 are super cheap. but the new consoles will inevitably be more expensive.

So I ask you, how much are you willing to pay.

I draw the line at 120 dollars more than what the current ones cost, a number i believe is quite accurate to be honest.

you mean the xbox that hasn't been announced yet? like a xbox720 or something? It will be like $399 or it wont sell. but before that happens, the xbox360 needs to be cheaper, so it might be a while.......

$399 is a good, firm, and sure to sell price. Any more than that I'm not sure I'm going to purchase until the first price drop. I waited this gen and I don't mind waiting next gen.

I need to know the specs to make a accurate call.

$300-$400 any more than that an you might as well spend an extra $200 and be able to play a lot more games that will look a lot better by building a decent PC.

But really, once again what could they add to a new sytstem to make it worth buying? Also I wouldnt pay $400 for somthing with a high failure rate like the 360 at first.

I'm not willing to pay anything until I'm sure it won't throw a RROD on me.

I hope their new system is better than the last one in terms of functionality (a dvd reader that scratch my disks is unacceptable).

$400.00 is the limit for me to buy a brand new gaming console. I bought 2 Xbox 360's brand new. A launch Core way back in 2005. And the Gears of War 3 Xbox 360 S limited edition red console with 2 controllers and the pack in game. Gears of War 3. for $400.00 on GW3 launch day.

So I'dexpect the third Xbox in 2013 to cost $500.00 at launch. Brand new tech is not going to be cheap so I will wait until the $400.00 mark.

I hope Micosoft doesn't pull a Sony which had their console launch at $600.00. So I hope 400.00 but I'd expect Xbox pulse/720 to cost more. So I have until 2013 to save up for Xbox 720.

I got my 360 with a 60gb HDD new for $300. I would buy a new one for around $200. Obviously I wouldn't be getting it new so I'll have to wait for a while.

Don't worry, I highly doubt that Microsoft are dumb enough to go overboard with pricing, or to make the next Xbox Kinect focused (or even to make their next Xbox console unreliable).

If anything, they'll most likely be targeting both casual & core gamers. It'll be suicide for them to just focus on casuals. While Kinect is selling now, who's going to still care about it in 2014, 2015? No one.

About £350 I am hoping for. And I want them to not cheap out on some of the specs inside the machine like last time, they could have added a little more RAM at the time which would have helped the loading times in some games even today.
