How many more years of Xbox360 games are left do you think...?

Hi - I was thinking about this (with the upcoming annoucement of the next Xbox).....How much longer do you think developers will continue putting out games for the current Xbox?

The hardware is now 7 years old (I think) and I guess it has probably been pushed as far as it can go......although I must admit the games that are being released now for it can be pretty awesome (compared to the ones early on....)

I'm not sure for how many years longer games for the old Xbox came out.....(someone might be able to tell me.....)

I still have quite a few games to get through in my collection and i'm not sure how the 'backwards compatibilty' of games will be handled on the next Xbox (I am not quite up to play with the rumours surrounding that)

I guess the strong multiplayer communities of some games might suffer as the new games on the new system take over......

I will be holding onto my current one for a while to get through my collection but i guess there will come a stage where no new games will be developed for it........it could be 1 year.....or 5 years.....

You can't judge the 360 on the Xbox, Microsoft lost a legal battle to keep on making the Xbox, that's why the 360 was made.

Microsoft is done with the Xbox 360, anything not in production for the 360 right now wont be made for the 360.

Third party devs are different, I suspect that some of the more popular multiplats will be offered on the Xbox 360 for the next year but that's about it.

At least 1 year after the debut of Xbox Infinity. Xbox 360 should still receive new games for one year until people make the uprade to Xbox 720/inifnity.

2 years at least, if people aren't converting to the new Xbox, they will judge it through statistics and data.

why not more because alot of gamers will not buy the next gen straight away.

8-9 months I say. They doesn't seem to be pushing 360 games atm and when the next xbox comes out I think that will be it at this rateziggyww

I am thinking that the quality of games has probably reached it's peak on the 360 - but as someone says if the next xbox doesn't sell as well the developers might continue pushing some of their games on the 360 just to keep the figures up....

I am hoping for at least 1 or 2 years - it might take a bit of time for the next xbox to gain traction in the marketplace....

Probobly nothing noteworthy. Probobly similar to the PS2 of last gen. Your yearly call of duty's, assassins creeds, maddens and such will release on it for the next few years and any projects that were started on the current gen platforms will finish up and release. But after that devs will move on too the Infinity and PS4, not to mention MS own studios will concentrate on the Infinity. 

You'll get 3rd party games for at least 2 more years, but quality games will probably end by 2014.

If the mini-360 rumors are true, Microsoft will probably continue to support it for years to come.

How many exclusive games for Xbox 360? None? Good!!!

2 more years. BUT if Micro$oft drops the price significantly and people buy them....who knows? I'm sorta wanting to buy another one since my Elite kicked the bucket not long ago but I'm gonna wait and see what the Nextbox has to offer instead. *sigh  man I miss playing online :(
