How long did it take you to finish Bioshock

It took me about 15 hrs....some parts I did explore, but others not to much.racastro65

19 hours on normal,I also almost played the whole game in one sit down but I had to take a 30 min break to take my brother in law to get his daughter.Ballroompirate

well ive been playing for about 7-8 hours now and my game keeps on freezing at the same point when i take a photo of one of the guys that the showman artist guy asks you to take phots of for his 'masterpiece' of frozen rabbits holding picture frames, am i close to the end???ihateyou_right

You've still got a ways to go, 3 or 4 more levels I believe.

I think I did the opposite of you. played medium the first time around and did as much as i could possibly do (got historian)

then played it on hard mode, finished the achievements and beat it in about 8 hours

My Parents are iffy about if i should buy the game, because of the "sexual themes". Is there really anything like that in Bioshock, because it would help if I got some answers. Thanks :)

Its so funny in our culture how people get ALL bent out of shape about people having sex (btw there's very little sexual content, but A LOT of graphic violence in the game) but have no problems when we bludgeon people with wrenches or incinerate them with fire plasmids or electrocute them etc..... How old are you? This game is like a rated R movie, if you're 16 or younger you shouldn't be playing it.

I dunno how long it took me, but I started the game about 10:40 in the monrin an had it done at about 9:00 in the night on normal mode, but easy I had it done in half the time.

14.5 hours on normal (first time thru)

then 16 hours on hard

I find it funny as hell to..... how its ok for a game to have torture and violence galore but if there is one scene of a nakd girl or even just some sexual themes, some people/parents get so angry and pissed off.

I am gonna guess 20+ hours but it was spread out over a a couple of weeks. Explored every nook and cranny, hacked every terminal, safe, etc. First game that has kep my interest long enough to make me want to explore everything. LOVED IT.

I kind of thought the final boss battle was a bit of a let down. Not much, mind you, but the story had built up so great by then.Inretrospect I guess it was hard to top the whole game in one final battlethough.

Also first game in aloooong time that I played forlike 6-8 horus straight without getting bored. Started on a Saturday afternoonwith sun shining in and ended withit being dark. Was worth it

Just wish it could have been a little longer........
