I buy a lot of used/bargain bin games but I have some yearly sports games that I always buy (Madden, MLB 2K, etc...). I will also splurge every now and then for a game I just can't wait for, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning will be a day one release.

I currently don't buy new games on launch day, because of costs & the fact that I have a huge back-log of older titles, which I have accumilated over the years, and over several consoles.

When I do buy games, I try to buy in store, in person, and it's usually a mix of old & new titles.

Also, I'll probably be buying more games from online, in the future.

99.9% of the the time i buy them at EB games (Australia) in store. Very rarely i get em' (slightly older games on sale) at Kmart or BigW. I've never bought games online.

I'll buy mostly new games on release some titles I'll wait for a price drop on some titles like Space Marine which I recently picked up for £12, I'll buy used games but I usually only do that for older games that are near impossible to find new.

Sometimes used, sometimes brand new.

If a big title for me catches my eye i'll pre-order.

I tend to buy games brand new. But I sometimes buy a game when it comes down it price since it most likely wasn't a game I felt I needed day one.

However I NEVER buy used games. I personally want to support developers esp considering so many have went under due to poor sales this gen.

I usually buy mine with money.Sometimes I get lucky and find someone willing to barter, and in that case I tend to pay with barrels of salt or copper.

In all seriousness though, I buy 90% of the games I own new.

I buy them however I want. If a game is $15 and I want it I buy it. If it is $60 and I want it I buy it. Very simple.

I really only buy new releases, right when they're released (i.e. within a week of release). Come to think of it I very VERY rarely purchase an old game (i.e. more than a year old). It's kind of strange now that I think about it. I still play older games, but just the ones I already own.

I have no concept of self-control. I pre-order the game before it comes out and pick it up the day it's released. It was OK when I had a part-time job at Gamestop and had a discount, but now it just eats away at my paycheck. But that $60 keeps me amused for weeks and months at a time, so it's worth it in the long run. Sometimes I get the game from Toys r us if they carry it because they usually have specials for gift cards with purchases which saves me money off my next purchase.

I rent most of my games from Gamefly. I mostly buy games that I will spend a lot of time on.

Honestly, games are so insanely priced now a days that I am all over buying bargain bin games. Though big games I will buy new such as Skyrim, MW3. I also bought NBA 2K12 & NHL 12 Brand new which fall on my Regret list.

Most of the time I get them out the used bargain bin. That is until I can't find one used, then I will get it out the 'new' bargain bin.

Spend most my time browsing the used shelves, but if i know the game is going to be a good one that i will end up playing alot i will shell out the extra money for a new copy.

It depends on the game. Some games I'm going to pre-order because I think I can play that game for a whole year, like RDR or Gears 3. All my other games, from now of on, I'm going to buy when the price dropped.
