I currently don't buy new games on launch day, because of costs & the fact that I have a huge back-log of older titles, which I have accumilated over the years, and over several consoles.
When I do buy games, I try to buy in store, in person, and it's usually a mix of old & new titles.
Also, I'll probably be buying more games from online, in the future.
I'll buy mostly new games on release some titles I'll wait for a price drop on some titles like Space Marine which I recently picked up for £12, I'll buy used games but I usually only do that for older games that are near impossible to find new.
I tend to buy games brand new. But I sometimes buy a game when it comes down it price since it most likely wasn't a game I felt I needed day one.
However I NEVER buy used games. I personally want to support developers esp considering so many have went under due to poor sales this gen.
R.I.P Pandemic :(
Ever since buying pre-owned limited how much content you were getting e.g VIP passes its become a habit to buy new.
I usually buy mine with money.Sometimes I get lucky and find someone willing to barter, and in that case I tend to pay with barrels of salt or copper.
In all seriousness though, I buy 90% of the games I own new.
Spend most my time browsing the used shelves, but if i know the game is going to be a good one that i will end up playing alot i will shell out the extra money for a new copy.
