they probally got promos of the game. people get games all the time before release, just one of them things. sometimes shops mess up the release date , but they might have got advanced copies due to jobs/connections in the gaming industry
I know for a fact that fourzerotwo is involved with the game somehow. He did all the official posts for IW during the beta... so if the devs and/or people involved with the game have it a month before me... that's acceptable! :)
It's supposed to be downloadable already. So pirates can play it already. Also, like everyone before me said, reviewers, game testers and whatnot also could play it apperently.
