Here is what i think fallout new vegas will be

Ok let me first say that fallout 3 is my favoret game of all time so saying that you chould probly tell that im exited for new vegas but what i keep seeing on the videos and forum posts is pepole saying that it looks the same so its going to suck and this should be DLC but here is whare i think they are wrong it may look the same but is that a bad thing?i mean looks dont make a fallout game fallout 1 and 2 looked terrible but they were great games also even if it is more of the same than thats great is more fallout a bad thing but i dont think it will win game of the year on this site or others because of the look of the game but anyway thats my take on new vegas so what i want to know is how do you think the game will turn out.

It will be epic. I loved F3 so im fine with more of the same. Bring it on :x

I'd usually agree with you, except in the case of Fable 2. That game definitely needed at least another month or two of love.

We will have to wait and see.

Fallout New Vegas will be an amazing game because:

1. If it is too similar to F3, it will be an amazing game...

2. If it is not similar to F3, it will be an amazing game...

3. Since developed by Obsidian, hence it might have problems and glitches, it is made under the patronage of Bethesda (using the same F3/Oblivion engine) so, it will still be an amazing game. I do not think they will put their name on the line (Bethesda's), if they had some serious doubts.

4. If you are a fan of the series, you will still buy it and play it and eventually accept it and like it.

IN other words, it is the only game out there, considering the amount of content it will have (if comparable to F3) that deserves its money for the collector's edition.

It will be enthralling, addicting, and cause me to lose sleep.

Which means it is going to be an amazing title.

I just checked the Fallout Wiki website for info on FNV and figured out one good and one bad piece of news (according to me)

1. Bad news is that they will have a level cap again (at 30)

2. Good news is that the new HARDCORE mode seems really interesting - you have to eat, drink and sleep to stay alive, stimpacks heal over time and not immediately, and also a damaged limb can be healed only at the doctor's office...Now this feature is great...

Well, if you figure in those three, plus the NWN expansion packs, the two games they're currently working on, and the other one they announced in February; I'd say Obsidian have done pretty well for a game company that's only 7 years old.

I think it'll be phenomenal because it's like Fallout 3 except with a better setting and a developer that doesn't suck.

fallout 3 had plenty of bugs but the only egregious ones were in the pitt, where you fall throught the ceiling of the factory and walls are more of a suggestion than physical limitations.

I liked alpha protocol, I didn't notice and bugs that got in the way of enjoying it, it did what it set out to. Create a heavy rain style story where you choose what happens.

i think fallout las vegas would be a much smaller game than fallout 3
