no question... get the tv and the cables (i got the 360 HD cables) and you can set video output on your 360, even tho I believe the 360 will automatically configure itself. But the difference in the picture is amazing... almost like a new game. Worthwhile investment.
same with you. i got an Xbox 360 Pro with no HDMI port in the back. it comes with Component Cables (HD AV Cables) though. put the switch on "HDTV" and set your Xbox 360 to the highest resolution possible (mine's 1080i) and you're good to go!
