I after several years, Ifinally convinced myself that a new XBox360 would be a worthwhile purchase. I picked up one of the Pro systems with the Forza2 and UA bundled in. Plus I sold back a few PS2 games and bought Assassin's Creed and The Darkness. So far I'm really happy with all the games I have and even some of the packaged Arcade demos.

Last night I hooked up a ethernet cable to a wireless computer and signed onto Live for the first time so I could get some game updates and buy the Cloning Clyde game for the kids. Everything has been a breeze so far and my experience has been extremely positive.

My plan is to play mostly offline. I still plan on using my computer mostly for FPS type games and online play. And because my XBox is connected to a computer for internet access the computer has to be on for the Live connection to work. Therefore my plan is to play most games using my offline profile. I assume that once I've downloaded a game update all other profiles on the system will use the updated game.

The graphics and sound sure do impress when this is connected to a HD TV and home theater system! Looking forward to many years of enjoyment out of this!

Xbox 360 is the way to go!

that is good you got everything working

If you need any advice or help with the 360 feel free to contact me

Also another thing to know that when you dont update their software they will suspend your game play online untill you update their software

you can still play offline though

last thing to know is take care of the 360 because it can easily brake

sometimes my disk drive will not open when i command it to

its ok i guess cause it will open afterwords im getting a HD drive so maybe it will fix although i will call xbox support if need help cause like they say 24/7 help

Wow, sorry about that, I was posting in two diferent topics.

This is what I wanted to say:

You should buy Mass Effect because it is exclusive Xbox 360 and you said that FPS's are for your PC, so you like shoting games and Mass Effect isn't an FPS but it is a game with a great story.
