The last boss in the Conan game. I know it got bad reviews but i really enjoyed it. With that said though, the last boss was a pain. I haven't wanted to throw the controller like that in a long time.
RAAM was ridiculously hard imo. I gotta say though, my favourite boss of all time? 'Perfect Chaos' from the Super Sonic part of Sonic Adventure on DC. Damn that was an awesome boss. Awesome game all around.

RAAM was easy for me on insane, but really I would have to say (I know I will get laughed at about this.) the first time you go through the Elite Four on Pokemon Red/Blue, really tests you and your team.

nah dude, the hardest one is Brock in pokemon yellow when all you gots is a Pikachu and a stupid caterpilar thing. that takes more time than the rest of the game put together!!!

I'd have to say mine is Shao Kahn from Mortal Kombat 2. Or the robot Sonic from Sonic the Hedge Hog 2, he was real hard.
I'd have to say Maze from Fable. He took forever to beat and was pretty tough. Took me only 3 tries though. The funny thing is Maze is the second to last boss, then comes Jack of blades..and Maze was harder.

I would say the continous boss battles in Lost Odyssey, when you have to face one right after the other in some parts is sort of difficult, not the hardest.
Hardest would be Sephiroth, (all i can think of right now)
Bongo Bongo freaked me out when Zelda OOT first came out, and the water temple boss was tough...Trying to collect all the bombs while that guy tries to run you over and throw grenades at you was annoying in Dead Rising.

Are you serious? All you had to do was crouch behind some rocks where there was a 99.9% chance he wouldn't hit you and shoot him and the dynamite that came at ya. I mean sure at the beginning it's somewhat hard but it'll only take a try or 2. All together it takes a little less than ten minutes of doing the same thing while losing minimal health. I thought Reed and Hollister were harder.
Something from Oblivion, maybe Umbra or the Gatekeeper. They weren't exactly bosses but they were hard to defeat(there are no bosses in that game really, just higher leveled and stronger creatures/NPCs). Most memorable boss fights would probably be the ones in Lost Planet or Dark Sector. Oh yeah, another really hard one I'm on is the angler sea monster in Turok, I've given up on that one and I know exactly what to do, it's just so hard.

hear, hear...I have to agree. Conan plays pretty smooth throughout the game but the last boss had to be one of the most memorable frustrating moments in my gaming history.
Emerald weapon from Final Fantasy 7. It wasn't part of the story, but damn that thing was the hardest boss fight i ever encountered. Back when i was in school, there was a time NO ONE there thought either Emerald weapon or Ruby Weapon were beatable. Once you killed emerald though, Ruby was easier to destroy by summoning Knights of the Round 8 times...staying alive to do this was the only problem...
every single boss in devil may cry 3 was incredibly hard..no doubt the hardest group of bosses ive even played...another one that comes to mind is the old guy in the wheel chair in metal gear solid 3, cant remember his name though. it took me an hour to beat and i never died.
Probably pre-patch C'thun from World of Warcraft. It's hard to find a boss harder to defeat than one that is impossible to kill. Glitched bosses aside I'd still have to say that any MMORPG's bosses are harder than anything that can be found in a single player game. Yeah, Sephiroth in KH may have been hard but I seriously doubt that you were stuck on him for months despite trying to beat him five hours a night, every night with 39 other people.
The hardest boss I've faced in recent memory was Razorgore from BWL; The Guild breaker. Keep in mind, this was before patch 2.0, lvl cap was at 60, no outland. Our guild spent over 6 months trying to beat this guy. We started trying Razorgore while I was in my Spring Semester in college (March), but didn't beat him until I started my Fall Semester in September. That means we got killed all summer long. I've never been stuck on any boss for that long for any game.
After 6 months, he may have killed us a couple hundred times. But we were more proud of our one victory over him when it finally happened lol.
Mike Tyson from Mike Tyson's punch-out was really hard too from the NES. I got to him a couple of times but never beat him
