Is it true that if I buy a 360 without a hard drive that I will not be able to save game data?? Need answer ASAP thanks.

you can save onto microsoft memory cards. they're a waste of money. of if you get the new arcades, it comes with 256 mb of memory. but you can't play online

You have to have some kind of storage to be able to save, so you either need a memory unit or a hard drive. All 360s have been sold with some kind of storage - even the inital Core unit came with a 64MB MU, though now this won't even hold the compulsory NXE update which takes 128mb. If you have a console without a harddrive then there was a promotion by MS to buy a cheap harddrive, though I don't know if the offer is still running.

For the price of a Pro over an Arcade I would just get the hard drive version.
