Hi,

I'm thinking of buying Halo: Reach. I've never been much into Halo but I watched some reviews and I want to try it.

Now my question is: What should I buy, Halo Reach or Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary?

I know Halo Anniversary is 'newer' but its a remake so. Wich of the 2 games has the highest playerbase and includes the most 'fun' factor?

Like to know your opinions on this.

Thanks

The multiplayer in both games is identical. However if you purchase Anniversery you will only have access to the Anniversery maps and playlists. If you buy Reach you have access to the Reach maps and access to the anniversery maps via a map pack. So I'd go with Reach. You get much more mp wise.

Reach has more players, maps and play lists. So go for the Reach.

Halo Reach, Halo Anniversary is just the original Halo priced higher, it plays the same, and considering it's a remake, it's quite sad that it only has 7 of the 14 or so maps.

If you want the original Halo experience, get Halo: Combat Evolved on the PC, with that, you can install Halo Custom Edition, a free expansion with mods, custom maps, weapons, vehicles and more!

Also, all of Anniversary's multiplayer maps have already been remade in Reach's map editor, forge.

Reach was good, but I'd go for the anniversary edition because I thought the first one was the most amazing.
