Halo 4 to be Launch Title for the Next Xbox?

dont flame me or anything but ist just somthign i came across.

Back in October, OXM reported a juicy rumor stating that Gearbox Software may be developing Halo 4 for the next Xbox console. In early February, Gearbox Software's Randy Pitchford did tease people by saying on his own site that his next project is "big". Since Bungie has already admitted they're uninterested in creating Halo games, that leaves Master Chief as a free agent in the gaming industry. Well not quite, seeing as that Microsoft still owns the exclusive rights. Besides the licensing issues, could Pitchford actually pull off a Halo title?

Gearbox is known to be one of the industry's top FPS developers, but what exactly is this "big" project? Joystiq reports that Pitchford has said he'll be directing it himself and also adds, "When you find out what this is, you'll likely agree that I can't oversell this one". Overselling? If it's truly about Halo, then I'm sure we all know where the majority of the money is going to.

i don't think there will be a halo 4 because bungie said that it was the end of the halo series. later this year they said they were making a game that u would play as marines. so who knows we will see later.

i highly doubt halo 4 will be developed i mean what would the storyline be like?? on Halo 2 and 3 we defeated most of the major enemies and the ark was destroyed and master cheif died on the last cutscene on Halo 3. even if there is gonna be a Halo 4 who are we gonna fight with... Arbiter ??? if we do what's the storyline gonna be about??? pulling the grunts from the brutes command back to the elites command??

Watch the cutscenes after the credits, and there is an alternative cutscene if you beat the game in Legendary.
