Are people planning on going through the single player campaign or jumping right into the multi-player?

well since ill have a chance to try out the multiplayer next week. When I get the game I will try out multiplayer first.

Multi-player for the first few days... then I'll take a break and beat the single player (which will be a breeze like the first 2)

Singleplayer first. It's supposed to be "fixed" since Halo 2 so that will be cool I'm looking forward to it, and getting those achievements will be fun too. I am going to be in the beta so I will have had my taste of multiplayer, I won't need to quickly try it out to see what it's about or anything.

I play S/P first then M/P last. It gets me into the controls and I wanna atleast know the beginning of the story. The thing is that if the games beginning is good enough Ill totally blow the M/P off till I beat the game. Plus, Im in the beta so Ill already know what the M/P is like.

Since im haveing a short tease of multiplayer on the 15th im will probably play the Single Player first.Like i always do.

You play single until u need a break. take that brake by playing mulit and then switch. continue until u feel like u've overloaded and then do someting else.

Ditto. Had Halo 2 since launch and STILL haven't beaten single player. Legendary will fill me in on what I missed.

Single player first, up until the point in the trailer (with the ark or whatever being excavated) that will be a good point to take a break and do multi. I really liked the plotline of the first two, and Ill have already played lots of multi on the beta.

Single player first, to get a handel on the game. Then off to multiplayer to make it last longer. What about co-op the single player campaign? Is that multiplayer,? Then I might be doing multiplayer first.

I'll do what I always do, go straight to the campaign. I do this for all games. Then once I want to take a break from the campaign I'll try out the multiplayer.

Single player first, duh. I wouldn't care if halo 3 didn't have multiplayer at all as long as the single player campaign is as good as the one in the CE. And I need to know how one of my favorite vg stories end.

There's a single player mode? J/K!! Im planning on having a LAN party on Halo 3 launch night. We have (3) 360's in our house, so that will be a frag fest. Ill probably go into the single player on day two.

Single Palyer in Halo has always been more important than Multi player. IMO.

The multi-player makes Halo a great game, but if that's all there was... Shadow Run. It just wouldn't be Halo.

multi for me i never like playing single player...i get motion sickness. the sickness goes away once i get famillar with the boards. true story and it sucks! only with fps's third person like gears im fine with.
