So yea, me and my m8 checked both youtube and here to see where we can get the cowbell, both vids of course show the same area. So we take a grav lift, place it correctly and jump to the highest, and it is not there. We tried 5 times reverting the save and 3 times restarting the Alpha chapter. And it never shows up! Is there anything special that we must do in order to get this skull?
So it's like this.....I ran into the same problem, and it boils down to the fact that the skull will not appear if you use the rally points. You have to start the mission off from the very beginning and then when you get to the part with the skull, it will be there. Just make sure that you have the grav lift before you get to the check point inside. Once you are inside, I don't believe it will let you outside to go get it (grav lift). Once inside at the spot to deploy the grav lift, a checkpoint should activate. You will then have unlimited times to try to get the skull, if you don't get it, just toss a sticky and die, and then rinse and repeat.....good luck. 8)
