I mostly played the demo just to check out the new interface, which I like .Especially adopting the Star Count Meter from Rock Band. I always like the more thin and sharper purple lines for open string or the bass hits. It would have been difficult doing double bass pedal with thick lines like in WT. Kinda dissipointed the demo didn't have Expert +, just to see how it is with or without another pedal.
I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band with a passion and have put countless hours into both games and enjoyed every bit of it and yet I'm far from buying a Guitar Hero: Metaliica. I just don't want a game with a track list that feels so limited, say what you will about how it covers a wide range of Metallica songs but at the end of the day the game is solely dedicated to Metallica songs. I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who like this game but it's just not for me.
I think its a retarded idea. I know... I know my screen name says it all. But dont you think Guitar Hero could learn something from Rockband 1 and 2? Why make an entire game thats $60 when you could just release it as DLC? Or even do it how the AC/DC pack was. You buy it and save it to your hard drive. Rockband is coming out with Pearl Jam on Tuesday with 10 songs. They didn't make a whole new game called Rockband: Pearl Jam.
I like Guitar Hero 2 more than any other game on guitar but I love drums and singing on Rockband more than Guitar Hero. Which is kind of sad because GH 2, Rockband 1 and 2 were all made by the same people.
Oh and by the way its beatles not beetles which shows you are 13 and have poor taste in real music.
I liked the demo. I'm really looking forward to the game and will be getting it on release day, although, I am a massive Metallica fan so that was always going to happen :)

I think the ending of your sentence sums it up, "In your opinion." In my opinion, Until It Sleeps is a mediocre song that is dull in comparison to anything on their first four albums.

Well, it's cheaper than buying that many songs through DLC. This is what many people on here do not understand unfortunately. Add up how much it costs per song to buy through DLC and you'll end up spending way more than $60.

49 tracks for the same price they charge for over 80 in the proper releases aint good value imo. they should be another 30 tracks really or it should be 2/3 or 1/2 price like rockband expansion packs are. fairs fair really.

This is strictly my opinion though of course. I'm actually going to buy two copies so I can play it with my dad. The only thing I don't like about it is you can't buy any DLC for it except for the Death Magnetic album but hopefully they'll release more in the future. :)
