Guitar Hero 3 Details (Including Songs and Multiplayer Battle) Out by 12/25?

Every time we turn around there's a new Guitar Hero announcement. That's not a bad thing at all. It's a good thing. Maybe a great thing considering today's hot word is about Guitar Hero 3.

First, the tracks:

ORIGINAL RECORDINGS:

• "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour
• "Paint It Black" by the Rolling Stones
• "Cherub Rock" by Smashing Pumpkins
• "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys
• "The Metal" by Tenacious D
• "My Name Is Jonas" by Weezer
• "Knights of Cydonia" by Muse

COVER SONGS:

• "Rock And Roll All Nite" as made famous by Kiss
• "School's Out" as made famous by Alice Cooper
• "Slow Ride" as made famous by Foghat
• "Barracuda" as made famous by Heart

Now, the details:

• More original tracks; less "made famous by:' tracks.
• New multiplayer battle mode
• Boss battles (!)
• Wireless guitars for all systems.

"The development team at Neversoft has been exceptional, and we've been able to incorporate a host of fresh new online and multi-player game play modes, along with exciting content into this version of Guitar Hero that our fans have been asking for," said Dusty Welch, head of publishing at RedOctane.

"Also, many of the top bands and songs we've tried to get in the past are now on board, and we've definitely got some giant aces in the hole to say the least. In addition, offering a new line of Gibson wireless guitars for each platform is going to truly add to the authentic rock star experience like no other," he added.

The game will be out by Christmas. And holy crap, Weezer AND Foghat? It's like a dream!

as awsome as it would be, it will never happen. same with zeppelin and acdc isnt likely either.

that song will be a blast, they do some awsome stuff with their guitarist. 

Wow i only liked 2 of those songs...i dont want all that oldschool stuff.

I like that they are putting Weezer in there, but they could have put a better song than "My Name is Jonas" 'In the Garage" , "El Scorcho" or even "Tired of Sex" would have been better. Also, I am glad that there will be less off the cover versions.. they are.. well bleh.jello44

I didn't say "put in more Weezer", I said "They could have picked a better song" than the one they picked. 

i dont like the look of the fretboard in the game, thats the only thing though.

i want to see more underground unknown metal.

Also, to ppl who are worried about AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and Metallica they are probably saving the best songs, best bands for less.

They are hiding in thier mansions with all thier songs hidden in a vault.  They are too good to let thier fans have their music.  They think that guitar hero is napster 2.0
