The only good thing is that it wont be kiddie like the last one
I'm so glad they got away from stuff that 8-13 year olds think are cool

Kiddie as in what? Are you saying GTA IV had a childish feel to it?

Sorry, I meant the last one in San Andreas
GTA 4 was for people who aren't 13 years old unlike San Andreas

Wait so the hot coffee minigame is kiddie? What exactly is kiddie in GTA:SA? Is it the graphics? You have choice to skip the cut scenes, but you can't turn off violence and blood so how is this kiddie? The only good thing is that it wont be kiddie like the last one

You mean what made GTA FUN? San Andreas is MUCH, much more fun than GTA 4. So much more to do, a more compelling game world, and funny, lovable characters.
GTA 4 was a good game, but they stripped out so much of what made GTA fun in the past to create a more solemn, serious experience and tone for the game. Not a good trade-off. San Andreas and Vice City are fan favorites because they were slightly wacky and had random, fun distractions all over the game world.
Also, what is childish about San Andreas? Going to the gym? Getting a haircut? Taking part in gang wars? Leveling up guns? Shooting people? Stealing cars? How is any of that childish? Just because that kind of stuff appeals to teenagers doesn't mean it doesn't appeal to people that are older or that it is childish....

EXATLY! GTA4 took away everything that was fun about GTA, it took itself way to seriously and that's why I'm looking forward to Saints Row the third more than GTA5.
san andreas??ummm..been there done that...literally like in 2004...not exited about this at all...id much rather play in a different city.. i didnt like how gta 4 went back to liberty city (gta 3)..and this just seems like gta: san andreas HD to me....ill pass. Give us somethin new!CFGD
THis is the thing I dislike about the gamespot fourms, Trolls! :(
GTA San Andreas is a masterpiece, filled to the brim with content and fun stuff. After completing the game, i really enjoyed sitting in a parked car listening to the funny talkback radio stations, and playing pool in the casino area, or causing massive accidents on the freeway that led to explosive chain reactions etc. As long as Rockstar brings back the "fun" factor to this ailing franchise, i won't be complaining, hopefully in a refurbished San Andreas, but until then, i've got my upcoming Saints Row 3 pre-order to contend with :)

Funny, you could do all of those things in GTA IV.GTA San Andreas is a masterpiece, filled to the brim with content and fun stuff. And you could put a jet pack on too? Parachute off mountains? Mod your car and bounce around the street with hydrolics? Fly attack helicopters?
Oh okay, didn't think so :?.

You couldn't buy properties at all... what could you spend your money on on GTA4? Absolutely nothing besides clothes which the amount was very little. I was a rich bastard with nothing else to do besides Missions that's why i quit playing the game after Roman got killed.

I played about 2 hours of GTA IV and thought 'I think I'm about done with this franchise.'
But now...a spiritual sequel to San Andreas?!
God I hope so! I'll fall in love all over again!
If I remember correctly, at :19 seconds, the only place with a harbor crane in San Andreas was the docks in San Fierro where you can do the import export side missions. I may be wrong or Rockstar games has decided to put in more cause I counted 4 of them during the 2 seconds in the trailer. I'm looking at the San Andreas map and it wouldn't make sense to put harbor cranes in the badlands area far away from the city, and that bridge is too long from what I remember crossing over to las venturas.

well if GTA IV is to go by, it wont be the same map as GTA:SA, it will be a redesigned one.
