Grand Theft Auto: IV -- cant access Police computer

when im completely stopped in a Police Car, and i press LB to access police computer

it takes me to the menu but only: call for police back up and search police records work but

when i try to View most wanted or View current crimes... it sais:: Error Connecting to Server.Check again later

what do i do??

You can't access the LAPD Police CPU during a mission.

You can't use the computer until you have completed the first mission.
