Im looking at getting an XBOX 360 and i dont know all of the features. I know you can play music while you play but is there any other good features? Thanks
Some features I enjoy are go on MSN, talk to your friends while playing games, download movies and demos while console is off, view images/videos on your pc...
It's also a media extender if you've got a PC with Windows Media Center, which is a nice feature to have if your Media Center PC has a TV tuner, as you can control all of that through the 360.
Everything mentioned in the other posts but the main thing, its the best games console out at the moment. I own a ps3 as well and I believe the ps3 is a better entertainment system but for games get a 360. Loads of better games on the 360 at the minute and games that are out on both seem to be better on the 360 (two examples I can personally use COD4 and Pro Evo 2008). You can video chat to friends who also have a 360, watch videos and films that are on your pc through your 360, if you have windows media on your pc link your 360 to that. PS3 can do most of these things to but as i said before for gaming the 360 is better.
u can instant message and text message. u can dload while playin. u can private voice and video chat. u can view new news on anything 360 from the dashboard. u can hold up to 120 gigs worth of stuff. u can listen to music while u play. u can stream things from ur pc to ur 360. and much more...
Yes you can stream music, video and pictures to your 360 with XP Pro. It's just a long and confusing process but it works great once you get it set up.
