which one is harder? Which one takes more skill/strategy to play than the other? I've played Gears, I know that's challenging, but I haven't played r6v yet, so I was just wondering what you guys thought.
they are completely different games, but rv6 is definetly harder and requires more skill.mistermagic
there actaually not that different. r6v is basically realistic gears of war. but as fot the original question i think vegas is harder. but beating raam in gears was rly hard.
Gears looks better, but you can get a whole lot more out of Vegas. Better multiplayer, harder, and requires a bit more skill. But at this point, wait a few more days and go with the sure bet and buy Vegas 2. Gamepro is already saying it will be the best shooter of 2008.
Coming from a person who has completed Gears of War on insane mode, Rainbow Six Vegas is a lot more difficult. R6V on normal is like insane on Gears of War. You need to plan and premeditate your next move or else you're just another dead man walkin'. It's a tactical shooter for a reason.
Vegas is harder, more fun, tactical and has a wider range of multiplayer options. However, it ain't as pretty as Gears of War, if you like post-apocalyptic grey industrial colour scheme.
yeah i recently stepped up to insane on gears and its difficulty isnt that insane as i thought. they are 2 games quite similar on campain. but would say on realistic rainbow is much harder. the differendce between hardcore and insane on gears wasnt that big to me, i found it easy to step up from the easy level. tried a level on hardcore wasnt to hard went on insane and was achieveable. managed to get onto 3rd act in a few days rainbow is harder though. one shot ur dead if ur not in cover. but single player on insane gears actually seems alot more like rainbow in the combat than i used to think
