Gears of war 3, anyone hear of it yet?

im thinking about getting gears of war 2 right now because all of a sudden, my friends started playing it all the time, playing horde mode. i rented when it came out but now im gonnna thinking about buying it this late. But my friend told me gow3 is coming out 2010. i just searched and didnt find anything. can anyone tell me if they announced it yet or when its coming out. please dont tell me any rumours or anything with no proof. i want to play a game that you fight waves of enemies, because nazi zombies got boring, and i was thinking about getting halo odst but i found out that there is no matchmaking in it.

so can someone tell me if gow3 is coming out, if it comes out 2010 then ill not get go2, but if it comes out 2011 ill get gow2.

right now the game of the year edition is 40 bucks, and it comes with all the map packs up to date. sounds like halo odst but looks like the gow3 has a bigger package

I'm not sure whether MS is gonna go for a killer 2010 for 360 before possibly introducing a new console for 2011. If thats the case, then both Gears 3 and Reach will be released in 2010, but if not, Gears is gonna be pushed back to 2011 to make room for reach. Either way, I suggest getting the GOTY edition with all the added DLC, it will last you at least a year.

do NOT buy gears 2 if you buy either get one, its the better game.

from what i have heard it will come out in Nov 2010 and also be available for ps3, i have also heard it may be a ps3 exclusive, at this point who knows

lol.......Gears of war games it is only for 360 and it will be at the end of 2010 only for the 360,but there is a rumour that the next metal gear solid gameit will be only for 360.Resistance 3 and infamous 2 they will be also on 360 and maybe only for 360 and maybe the uncharted 3,i have heard that too.:roll:

From what i heard no Gears till new gen

i read that it will be coming out with the new console, and the new console is definitely not coming out as soon as 2011- no way. microsoft said that most people don't have the tv/sound system set up to take advantage of what the next console plans to offer. In fact, nowadays there's still a ton of people who don't have some kind of high-def tv.

Look for a 2010 or 2011 release for Gears 3. Nothing has been announced so far.

I'm really hoping it comes out in 2011-2012. Just to be safe, and to make absolute sure, that they make it the best they can make it. And I think on a new console would be best for the series.

This is what ive heard but i really hope not i mean new systems may not come out for a long time it might be 3/4 or more years before we see new systems. If they are willing to wait that long they must be mental. I understand that gears needs to move in a new direction so that it can continue to be fresh but that's too much downtime for a successful series people will stop caring. They dont have to wait for a new system to breath new life into gears.

lol why has this post come back after like a week?

if your a multiplayer person, definitely dont get this. it has a horribly slow matchmaking (ppl say it fixed well not for me) and the online is just full of shotgunning and chainsawing =.=. Only ge tit for Single player (which i admit was good) or horde. and i doubt a gears 3 is coming out even if it does i aint getting it =.=/ o ya online full of lag switchers, where the enemy lags u and make ur screen freeze, then when ur screen suddenly unfreezes he already killed u. gears 2 like the only game that is vulnerable to lagswitches.

their was an article in ign.comsaying that it will be coming out to the next gen xbox

It is going to be awhile.

epic said the next geow game will be released on next-gen console, though they tend 2 make up facts 2 cover secrets. i think there will still b 1 more geow game on the xbox 360, likely named geow 3, but it will probably arrive on 2011, because halo: reach will b released end of next yr so 2 blockbuster titles releasing at the same time will kill off either one or the other, not 2 mention killing the multiplatform games as well, which is bad business for microsoft. honestly, i do hope epic games will take some time to develope geow 3, so i wouldn't mind it being a yr late. when i play geow 2, i sense an epic (no pun intended) game inside it, but rushed development have ruined it. maybe they should release a 2 disc game, the 1st disc contains the single player, the 2nd disc contains remasted multiplayer maps from geow 1 n 2, plus geow 3 own maps.
