For the first year of having the exclusive NFL license, EA put a pretty shoddy product out there. The game was nothing but the bare necessities, Quick Play and Franchise.

Same here, but regretting it is not how I would put it.
For me, it would be Saints Row. The online experience was laggy as hell, and tons of wana-be gangsters. Pro tip: If you live in your parent's basement, YOU'RE NOT A GANGSTER.
1. King Kong - Don't get me wrong it was a decent game but it's too short of a game so it's not really worth the price, you can beat it during a rental period, which is what I should of done. I usually just rent games first or download the demo for certain games before I buy them but I had just got the system when it first came out and there wasn't many good games right away so I was desperate lol.
2. Madden 06 - I'm a big football fan and I have always liked the Madden games so I decided to buy it without trying it first because they are usually good games but this one sucked. They didn't put enough effort it and just rushed it out too fast, but that didn't stop me from getting the easy achievements for it haha.
i dont regret buying it, but i wish i had waited until it was down to 20 before getting double agent. good game, but i never beat it. disappoitment after chaos theory

You should trade it in for DiRT. Two of my friends aren't big racing fans and had an absolute blast with it. They played it once at my place and then both went out and bought it, even though there's basically no online multi. Hell, I'm not that big a racing fan and I find DiRT is incredibly fun. I respect Forza, but unless you're into racing games and/or racing, you should probably stay away from it.
Retail games I regret buying are Madden 06, American Wasteland and The Godfather. Most of the games that I regret purchasing are Xbox Live Arcade games. Just to name a few: Crystal Quest, Feeding Frenzy, Wik, Bejeweled and all the Hardwood games.

Perfect Dark Zero. I bought it expecting at least a solid title, but the enemy AI and storytelling make the game almost unbearable. It's been a crawl through the SP campaign for me. I really need to get XBL.

I couldn't imagine playing that game for the single player and not having Xbox Live. The single player is really terrible. The multiplayer is way better then the single player IMO.
Forza 2. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good game, but I just can't get into it. I try, and I try, but the fun just isn't there for me. I want to like it, I just.....don't. :(

Oh I loved the original PSO on the Dreamcast. That is the only MMORPG (if you want to really call it one) that I ever got into. I put well over 500 hours into it but once I played the demo of PSU, I was disgusted and canceled my pre-order that day.
Halo 2 and Gears of War. The 2 most over-hyped pieces of trash ive ever wasted money on. Halo 2 had one of the lamest and most repetitive single player stories of any fps ive ever played. And Gears of War wasn't impressive at all.in fact some of the building and details were so detailed that they actually looked bad.

NBA Live 07!!! I thoght 06 had really good gameplay so I couldn't wait for 07! Well, it came out and I bought it and about broke the disc right there! To make matters worse I only got $33 for it a few days later... I picked up NBA 2K7 which is a very good bball game. I'm going to rent both this year though because Live 08 is getting very good reviews already by self proclaimed 2K lovers!
