I was just playing Gears of War, and I got disconnected from a match (one that I had a lot of kills in, go figure). It wouldn't worry me so much, but the error that popped up was "You have been signed out because your account is being used by another gamer." It was something along those lines. What the ****? Is my account being hacked or something? Please tell me that it's just a random message that doesn't mean anything...

If i were you i would call Customer Service Xbox Live and have them change your personal information immedietly b/f he completely takes your account. I've seen this done b/c my friend does this to annoying people and he ends up giving your account away. So like i said have them change all that information and then change your gamertag for 800 microsoft points

Try signing in again if you get no sucess go to passport.net and try changing your password to your windowsid. If no sucess ring Microsoft they will be able to check the issue for. Because your credit card details, points are at stake and will be abused by the hacker. It happened to my friend before I quickly helped him recover his account by changing the password on passport.net for the windowsid before the hacker could do more damage etc changing all your details on your account so its beyond the point of ever getting it recovered.

Definitely frightening. I don't know if it's a random message or not but it probably isn't. Are you using a credit card?
