I never could enjoy the series for what is wasno matter how many hours I loged on Forza and Granturismo "tweaking" the gear ratios, spring suspension, tires all seemed a waste of time. I would rather jump into an intense race in a sweet ride. All the simulation foofoo they put into the "Sim" racers was a waste of space and time for me. PGR4 all the way.
I loved pgr2 I used to play that all day long online but I never really got into pgr3 Ive had it since 2005 and used it like 20 times,Forza 2 is much better since its a simulation and has all types of cars,pgr4 having motos is cool.
I agree that forza gets a little carried away with all the spring adjustments and stuff like that, but pgr4 is was to arcadeish, you can't really feel the car, in forza you feel the sensations of speed and spin outs. I am was a huge pgr fan, but pgr4 dissapointed me kinda like call of duty 3, i thought call of duty 2 was way better.
hmmm, tough one...i can agree with all the replies, but i'll have to give the edge to PGR4. the fun factor, sense of speed, weather & replays is second to NONE!
and as far as simulating driving, the in car views in PGR 3 & 4 nails it...i'll put up racing the Nurb' in heavy snow using the in car view to any of forza's "simulation" features?
Ummm....PGR3 was better than forza 2 without a doubt. See the whole point of video games is fun, which PGR3 accomplishes but forza 2 doesn't. Forza was actually a better game than forza 2. Oh and if forza is a sim game why doesn't it have the cockpit view like PGR? Which by the way is the only view I use now.
PGR4 is alot more enjoyable than Forza 2 IMO. I found Forza 2's career mode the gaming equivalent of watching paint dry... nowhere near enough tracks and the ones that are in the game get repeated far too often. Oh... and where is Blue Mountain :evil:
