Farcry 2 Community

Does Farcry 2 have have a strong online community? When I say strong I mean around 50,000 people or more. If you know how many people play online coulfd you tell me.

Sorry I can't be too specific. But I really doubt the community is even close to 50,000 people or more.

Erm not sure really ive got the game but never played online the custom map creator is popular though i think its died down, to be honest though the game is good for the single player and thats it there is other multiplayer games.xxmatt125xx

I know there's a pretty good online community, but its kind of annoying because you can get booted by a majority vote at any time during the game. So, in other words, if you're doing well don't expect to last long.

Maybe only a couple of thousand but thats about it.

Where farcry 2 really shines is downloading some of the custom maps people make and fooling around with friends. I have one that is just a giant jump and it was hours of fun.

50k is high for a game not called Call of Duty

but FC2 has a really good mp, especially if u get a group of friends involved...ranked does take a while to get used to, if ur not adept at games like Bad Company and CoD, and ranking up is a long process

but the custom maps and player matches are awesome, i do really recommend FC2 for mp

p.s. in all honesty, FC2 has a better mp than CoD...for realz

Theres a good amount of people online but i woulnt say 50,000. From what i played, people like to hack on that game a fair amount.

It's not that great MP, the thing I loved about the old one is that people didn't fight on it, they just made mazes and stuff. FC2 doesn't have this and it put me off, the map maker is something special though...

since im prolly the only person who has logged over 100 hours playing the single and mostly multiplayer, i can tell u that everything i said was true, u just have to try it out for yourself, and u wont be dissapointed

the online is populated, not dead and it can be quite fun on the right map.

I like the multiplayer... there are some great custom maps, but I found the actual community to be a bunch of asses, so I don't play it online.

It has a decent size community but like others have said the mp gets boring fast. I sold the game for that reason.
