I can only buy one of them. It's a tough choice. I have read the previews of both games but I cant make up my mind.

EDIT: I am buying other games which I consider MUST BUY games: Gears 2 and Fallout 3

Far Cry 2 in more innovative and while World at War looks great, its just a WWII game set in the pacific.

Far Cry 2 has open world gameplay and you can decide how you want to carry out your mission. Would you prefer to stay back at night and pick off a few enemies with your sniper, or would you rather charge in in broad daylight and take everyone out. And i think its something like 50 kilometers of African terrain to explore how you want.

Sure they both have great graphics and solid gameplay it just seems to me like Far Cry 2 is going to be something new and innovative. Not many FPS games have open world gameplay and even fewer are set in an African desert. It looks really good and while im sure World at War will also be amazing, in the end more or less it will just be another game in the COD franchise.

Both, I dont see why everyone thinks cod3 sucked it got good reviews and had a great SP/MP (considering the development time allowed). But thats bandwagons for you. Anyways both games look excellent and are worth a purchase.phil16-psp

it'll be so nice that we can make and share our own maps instead of waiting for the dev to release and charge us for map packs .

maybe he has a job? maybe he doesn't live with mommy and daddy and has other bills and stuff that only leaves him enough extra cash to buy 1 game?

just a thought.

Call of Duty 5 Isnt going to suck just becasue it is a ww2 shooter game they are both going to be great games
