gamespot you guys lost all credibility with your reviews of assassins creed (the game you had a launch center for ) and mass effect.. a game you dont have a launch center for...

mass effect gets a 8.5? you guys aer 2nd lowest on metacritic. and last week you were the highest. what gives.

All the other websites have given it 9.0 or above

GS review FAILS, 8.5 is an absolutely ghastly score.

EXACTLY!

My opinion? Assassins creeed SUCKS. It is very good looking yes and a intriguing story, but the gameplay itself? horrible. Fighting is easy, and the missions are just ridiculously repetative. Its crap. And it got AAA? Thats straight overhyped.

First uncharted, then Mass Effect. Gamespot continues to lower in my books. I was skeptical about AC but the reviews were great so i got it. Played for an hour or 2 and hated it. Only thing that kept me playing was the story. Beat it in two days and now desperately looking to sell it.

very true but a review can very easily push un unknown decision into a buy. Its what it did for me and AC and i was very dissapointed
