E 74 Xbox 360?

I just today got my first red ring of death on my 360. When I turn on the machine one red ring comes on and on the screen a saying comes up that says E 74. So I am thinking of sending my 360 into Microsoft. How much would it cost and when they fix it would it not have this problem anymore?

Mine has gone out about 4 times now, I don't think they ever really "repair" it per se.

just that happened to me on sunday, today i sended it..

see if they fix it...

Took 12 weeks to ship from UK to USA, they didn't even attempt a repair, just gave him a new motherboard, back to UK.

Sorry but it doesn't take 12 weeks to ship and xbox.

it really doesn't take that long to get back. i sent mine in last monday and ups has it scheduled to arrive this thursday

didn't take long to get mine back after I got the E74. Two days later, new xbox!
