Does this fix the problem?

So I just rented a copy of Dead Space today and after about ever 10 minutes of gameply a message pops up and tells me that the disc is unreadable, there is only one visible scratch on the disc but I have played games with many scratches and there is no problem playing it. So, should I install the game onto my HDD so the xbox isn't using the disc? Does this work?

Are you allowed to do that? Because you don't really own the game... you just rented it. But you could give it a shot. You could try the toothpaste trick to 'fix' scratches.cubeCAT13
