Yes, as every 360 is the same. But, to put things frankly, you'd be a complete idiot if you bought an Arcade bungle. Get at least a Pro.

Yes. Although you should just go ahead and buy a Pro or Elite since once you buy the Arcade version and get a hard drive your already paying the same price for a Pro system.

I got an arcade in the January sales for less than £170 with the wireless pack thrown in, I later picked up a HDD and head set cheap from ebay. In the long run I paid just slightly over £200 for the lot and I got the extra controller and 2 games with it along with the 5 arcade ones, plus I have the HDMI to use and its a falcon model (arcades generally seem to be). Frankly I think the arcade bungle worked out well for me...

Yes, but the Pro package is the way to go, in terms of value. If you get the Arcade version, you'll just end up paying an extra $200 getting all the accessories that the Pro would have given you in its deal. Difference between the two packages is $70. You do the math.

Yes, you can buy them separately and they will work. All of the av cables have same receptacle and all 360s have the same plug. The arcade is basically a pro without a hard drive, hd av cables, headset, chrome faced disk drive. Everything that works with the pro and elite will work with the arcade.

Key terms: for you. You got the 360 for sale and a bunch of used stuff. I myself wouldn't buy something like a video game system (or, what I think, an integral addition to said system) used.

Once again, every Xbox 360 is the same (except launch ones, which don't have HDMI). But, at least 90% of the people on this board will tell you to buy a Pro.

In Australia it costs more to buy an Arcade and a seperate HDD than it is to get a Pro/Premium console.

The 360 hasn't even been out for three years. It's still under warranty.

Then just tell them that it gets 3 red lights after ~30-45 minutes. They won't test something like that, will take your word for it, and you get another one. That, or create a power surge that busts your power brick. ;)
