Why would anyone want to browse the internet via a console in the first place? If you have high speed internet then you must have a computer for things like BROWSING THE INTERNET.

Because it's a nice option to have "IF" you don't feel like using your PC...or Mac.

ive tried that before and its not worth it plus you can only go to bookmarked sites. the current consoles dont handle the internet well anyway your better off using a computer.

Even if it did, you're better off wiring both to a router or something and let both your PC and 360 have access to the internet. you can game on your 360 and surf the internet on your PC at the same time (provided that they're in the same room). it'd be much easier to look up guides and to use one on your PC while you're gaming on y- common sense then takes control...

I would personally like my console as far away as possible from browsing internet sites. Plus it wouldn't be like real browsing, unless you could install Flash, Quicktime, Silverlight, Java...... the list goes on. And you'd pretty much just have a computer on hand with a few dozen viruses.

That's called pointless redundancy.

i tried to set up my media center yesterday on my 360..and it seems to be wayy more complicated than it needs to be plus i was only trying to use it so i could watch videos and listen to my computers library...but i saw other options in the menu and it made me think i might be able to access the interwebs or something
