i didn't like 2k7 that much either but 2k8 is really good. it really feels like you're playing the actual game. the animations and transitions are smooth with a more balanced shot percentage contrary to last year's struggle to hit some shots. seriously, this is the most fun i've had with an nba game since i became a bball gamer back in 98!! so yeah man, from all the lives, 2ks i've played this is the best one yet.

However if your not actually into basketball, and just looking for a fun game, grab 2k8. Its up to date in the rosters and graphics are sweet enough to keep you entertained.
