I did a ping test.

It said my ping was 36 and 8ms of jitter. At my brothers house he gets 2ms of jitter. How much jitter should you be below of?

I think jitter on xbox livemight matter more because if you had a good jitter the ping would be steady.

Is it pretty good for a wireless internet. I use a motorola canopy as shown in the pic below for my internet.

your ping is great 36 is awesome also the jitter is just how much it will flux while streaming or playing online so your ping would run from 28-44 which is fine

not only that but your jitter and ping will change depending on what server you are connecting to and how strong your connect is to it. try doing a ping test off of a different server you will get different results
