I'm kind of bad at Gears, but I've really been enjoying one of the games lately. Is anyone else like this?

Depends, I love Ninja Gaiden games, and I wouldnt say I suck at them, but they are really really hard games. I am naturally attracted to really hard games
Hack n Slash games like Bayonetta or DMC4, I love them but usually cannot play on a difficulty above normal without getting frustrated and rage quit. Also the achievements for the ultra mega super duper high combos are out of my league.
Still I love those games and enjoy every second of them.
Others like Splatterhouse or Dante's Inferno, those are simpler to play, therefore I can finish them on the higher difficulty setting.
Love those games!
I'm terrible at Crysis 2 and Gears 2, but I still play them. I stick to objective games so I don't hurt my teammates.
I'm pretty horrible at any shooting games that aren't for the PC, but that doesn't stop me from giving it the old college try. Also I'm better at fighting games when I have the arcade style controller.
A few games i'm rubbish at on the Sega collection which i still enjoy, but really if you're awful at a game most likely thing is you'll get frustrated and dislike it.
I'm pretty crappy when it comes to combat in Batman: AA. I'm lucky if I ever get a combo to like 5 or 6 hits.

hahaha I thought I was the only epic fail out there at this. I got near perfect scores on the predator challenges but I couldn't do any good in the combo challenges. I blame clunky controls. :P
I LOVE playing fighting games but i never win :( Even when people are screwing around with me and taunting me online, i still get my ass beat
[QUOTE="KBFloYd"]Haha story of my lifefighting games love them but always get beat :P

Yeah same here. I have a blast with the predator challenges and struggle for Bronze on the combat ones lolA couple of games, like SF4. I just claim the game is riggedor somethingso I don't feel as bad as I actually am.
I would ultimately have to say just about any Halo game. I was fairly good at Halo 2 back in the day but of course I had time to play alot more multiplayer and there were a whole lot less people online and Xbox live in particular. Now I play Halo Reach and find it rather difficult to get any number of kills or wins. I still love playing the game because of the large number of game modes like firefight. Great stuff.
me too bad at gears of war, yet i enjoy playing it.I'm kind of bad at Gears, but I've really been enjoying one of the games lately. Is anyone else like this?

I've gotten a combo up to 25 in batman arkham asylumHonestly it depends.
A game that holds too much serious-ness like COD is kinda of annoying to suck at.
But games like Shadowrun are pure enjoyment to me. (even though I am a beast at shadowrun now)
Im pretty good at most games except gears but i love the beta so far.I'm kind of bad at Gears, but I've really been enjoying one of the games lately. Is anyone else like this?

I'm amazing at every game I've ever played. Lol jk, I suck at most rts games, yet I enjoy them. I just have no idea how to be good at them xD.
I kind of like being bad or "new" at a game. I always just have a good time when I know I can blame it on something. I get on MW2 every now and then, and even tried FC2 last week. I was kind of holding my own, but I was still having a good time with something fresh.
My problem is being pretty good at a game (BC2), and getting owned every once in a while. It's much harder to swallow and keep your pride when you can only blame yourself for a lousy match.
